| Welcome to the online home of The Wordsley School music department. Music is a specialist subject at The Wordsley School and we as a department strive to challenge pupils with high expectations and provide them with the opportunity to perform both in and out of the classroom. On this web site you will find recordings of pupils work in the classroom and performances from our renowned concerts. You will also find information and resources for the GCSE music and Btec Music Technology subjects studied at key stage four. Not forgetting, the Radio Wordsley podcast. |

| Brand new web site! |
| WordUp Records have launched their brand new web site. Although it looks a lot like the old one, the new site will contain more information about the options to be taken at key stage four, samples of in class work and recordings from our summer and winter concerts. The web site will also include all the latest information regarding the music department and not forgetting, the Radio Wordsley Podcast! Some of the site is still under construction but it will be up and running soon! |

| The Wordsley School Winter Concert 2009. |
| The concert was a great success and every one involved should feel a great sense of achievement for their efforts. The school hall was full to capacity and many people were left disappointed when they were unable to obtain a ticket due to overwhelming popularity. Highlights of the concert will be available to download soon - watch this space! |
